Fresno REALTORS, Ken and Carol Maul, enjoyed “Celebration! The Music of John Rutter,” performed by the Fresno Choral Artists this weekend.   The concert was held at the First Congregational Church (Big Red Church) in Fresno.

Under the direction of David Hensley, The Fresno Choral Artists were joined by the Central California Association of Kodaly Educators (CCAKE) Children’s Honor Choir, which has students from Fresno and Madera Counties.    Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin’s daughter was one of the children in this honor choir.

The Fresno Choral Artists is in its twenty-second season. The chamber choir is composed of singers who audition for membership and who are devoted to presenting professional quality choral music.

Artistic Director David Hensley is Professior of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Porterville College.   He is in his sixth season as Artistic Director of the Fresno Choral Artists.

Accompanist for the Fresno Choral Artists is organist and pianist, Catherine Walker, who also accompanies the Fresno Community Chorus and is organist/music director at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church in Oakhurst.

Information on auditioning can be obtained at Fresno Choral Artists.
